Call for Papers

ICDIA 2025
Data from All: Promoting Data Availability and Inclusivity for Underserved Populations
September 9th – 11th, 2025
Department of Computer Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria

The International Conference on Data-Driven Innovations and Applications (ICDIA) explores how high-quality, inclusive data drives intelligent solutions and addresses real-world challenges, especially for underserved communities. It highlights gaps in data collection, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, and advances data practices to promote equity, inclusivity, and sustainable development. ICDIA will be held annually between August and September, with the call for papers issued 6 months prior to allow time for submissions and reviews. This timing avoids peak academic workloads, encouraging participation from academics and researchers. The maiden event, the 1st International Conference on Data-Driven Innovations and Applications (ICDIA 2025), will set the stage for this impactful series.

The topics of interest for ICDIA 2025 encompass all aspects of data-driven innovations and applications, including but not limited to the following:

  • Learning from Data-Artificial Intelligent Systems
  • Data Extraction Techniques
  • Data Mining Techniques
  • Data Cleaning and Pre-processing
  • Data Integration and Fusion
  • Data Acquisition
  • Data Collection
  • Data Visualization
  • Feature Engineering
  • Data Annotation
  • Exploratory Data Analysis
  • Big Data Technologies
  • Data Privacy and Ethics
  • Cloud Computing for Data Management
  • Data Governance
  • Data Analytics (AI/ML) use cases in healthcare, agriculture, industry, etc.

For data collection and acquisition, we encourage submissions of papers that focus on publishing their datasets. If the research data is available in a data repository, there are several ways to link your article directly to the dataset. This can be achieved by adding the link to the dataset when prompted during the online submission process. Following the double-blind peer review process, authors can also include the link to their dataset in the accepted paper.
