
Profile of Caroline N. Asogwa (Ph.D)
Caroline Ngozi Asogwa, a Lecturer in Computer Science also worked as a Chief Systems Programmer in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria Nsukka. She teaches in the Department of Computer Science, University of Nigeria Nsukka. She holds a Diploma in Statistics and Computer Applications, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Statistics, a Masters Degree in Computer Science (Software Development Specialist), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Software Engineering Specialist). She has advanced trainings in Big Data, Data Science, Managing University Libraries for Online Education at Galilee International Management Institute, Israel, etc. She has skills in Data analytics, and Digital Libraries. Caroline Asogwa is a member of a University research group, the High-Performance and Intelligence Computing group (HiPIC, hipiclab.org), a cross-disciplinary research group based in the Department of Computer Science and a member of Interdisciplinary research Group, a Machine Learning for Drug Discovery Group based in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has won Nigeria’s Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund, IBR 2024). She also participated in several Oracle Academy Trainings. Her project experiences include Machine learning, Information personalisation, Digital Libraries, etc. Dr. Caroline Ngozi Asogwa has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
