Profile of Dr. Chikodili H. Ugwuishiwu (Ph.D)

Chikodili H. Ugwuishiwu is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, University  of Nigeria, Nsukka since 2007 and currently an Associate Professor. She holds BSc. (2004 – Software Engineering), MSc. (2009 – Data Structure) and Ph.D (2018 – Information System)  degrees in Computer Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has published many articles  in reputable journals and conferences. She has also attended many local and international  workshops. She has won a project grant from Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund IBR  (2023). She has held several positions at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka including Exam  

Officer (2009-2013), Faculty of Physical Sciences Welfare Committee Chairman (2014 – 2016, 2020-date), and Faculty  of Physical Sciences Representative in the University of Nigeria Senate (2023-Date). She has rendered services to some  public bodies including, Enugu State Technical Advisor, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) formerly  JAMB in Nigeria (2019- Date), Executive Secretary, Christ Church Women Association (CCWA), University of Nigeria,  Nsukka (2018/2019, 2024-date). Executive Secretary, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing  World (OWSD), South East Zone, Nigeria Chapter (2021 – Date). She is a member of professional bodies including  Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Nigeria Women in  Information Technology (NIWIIT), Organization for Women in Science for the developing world (OWSD) and  Association of Information System (AIS).
